President Russell M. Nelson's 2018 Global Ministry Tour

News Release

The 2018 global ministry tour of President Russell M. Nelson and Elder Jeffrey R. Holland covered eight cities in 11 days in Europe, Africa and Asia. Below is a summary of coverage from each city.

London, England 
The leaders and their wives spoke to missionaries and members at the historic Hyde Park Chapel.

                                                                                                                                                                Jerusalem, Israel 

The audience was a gathering of members, friends and students at the Brigham Young University Jerusalem Center for a district devotional.

      

Nairobi, Kenya 
Congregations throughout Kenya heard the Church leaders and their wives speak.

             

Harare, Zimbabwe 
More than 4,000 people gathered to hear President Nelson speak, including hundreds of children who sang a verse of “I Am a Child of God" at the beginning of his address.

Bengaluru, India 

The prophet discussed the new temple with Latter-day Saints in Bengaluru.

Bangkok, Thailand
President Nelson told several thousand local Latter-day Saints that "the future for the Church is bright here in Asia." 

  

Hong Kong, China
President Nelson spoke to 4,000 Latter-day Saints about the wonder of the human body, as well as the importance of education, prayer, tithing, family and worship in temples.

Honolulu, Hawaii, United States
President Nelson finished his global ministry tour on the Brigham Young University–Hawaii campus in Laie, Hawaii.
