Light the World Products Now Available Online

This Christmas Season, make a child, military orphan or a family in need happy by donating through the Light the World Giving Machines located at the 4^th level near Cinema of TriNoma Mall, Quezon City any time between 8 November to 31 December during mall hours.

For people living outside Metro Manila who want to donate, donations can be through the popular online shopping app called Lazada.

The three local charity partners of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have flagship stores on Lazada and have made their Light the World products available to the shopping platform to make it even more convenient for people to make a donation to those in need.

UNICEF Philippines, Caritas Manila and HERO Foundation are in accord about bringing the Light the World Giving Machine products to the online community. According to them, by making the LTW products available online, people living in provinces outside the National Capital Region and those living abroad can still be part of this worthy campaign.

With just a few clicks of a button on a computer or a few taps on a smart mobile device, an individual can help provide a family three days’ worth of food, treatment for a child with vision impairment, or make a military orphan’s dream of getting an education come true.

Light the World One by One Online

To donate online, donors can access Lazada by either logging on to www.lazada.com.ph or downloading the Lazada app from the App Store (IOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

Next, donors can visit the flagship stores of Caritas Manila, UNICEF Philippines, and HERO Foundation, and select the products they want to purchase.

The charity partners remind shoppers that because the items they purchase are for donation purposes, they will not be able to receive the actual products. Rather, the items they buy will go directly to the beneficiaries of their organizations.

Additionally, the payment options available for a digital product can either be through credit/debit card, G-Cash e-wallet or Lazada Wallet.

Upon order and payment confirmation, donors will receive an email notification about their donation.

The Light the World products of the charity partners are available for purchase on the Lazada until 31 December 2019. All proceeds from their online stores will go straight to their beneficiaries. 

Light the World Giving Machines

For 2019, there are 10 locations for the Giving Machines. The Philippines is the only country in all of Asia that has the Giving Machines. Also, it’s only in the Philippines wherein the Light the World products are available online.

By having two options to donate, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its three charity partners, UNICEF Philippines, Caritas Manila, and HERO Foundation, hope to encourage more people all over the country to light the world of a child or family in need this Christmas season.
