    Church Newsroom PH Changes to Reflect Correct Name of the Church of Jesus Christ

    The social media accounts of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Philippines will unify to emphasize the correct name of the Church as well as improve and simplify the Church’s presence on Facebook.

    Effective on 1 January 2019, the Facebook page of Church Newsroom Philippines will be renamed to become the new The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Philippines.

    High-level breaking news about the Church in the country will now be found on the Church’s Facebook newsgroup, Newsroom Philippines of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This new group is part of the official Facebook page and will replace the old Church Newsroom Philippines Facebook page.

    FamilySearch Philippines and the old The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Philippines Facebook pages will be retired and will no longer be updated. Inspirational and FamilySearch-related content will be available on @churchofjesuschristph through the page’s main feed.
